Troubleshooting
App won't sync with my partner

Check that both devices are connected to the internet

Force close Pause and reopen it

Ask your partner to do the same on their device

Check your partner's connection status in the app

If the issue persists, try disconnecting and reconnecting
Notifications aren't working

Open Settings → Notifications → Pause and ensure notifications are enabled

Check that Do Not Disturb or Focus mode isn't blocking Pause

Verify your check-in reminder time is set correctly in the app

Try toggling notifications off and on again

Restart your device if the issue continues
Can't log in to my account

Tap 'Forgot Password' on the login screen

Check your email (including spam folder) for the reset link

The reset link expires after 24 hours—request a new one if needed

Make sure you're using the correct email address

Contact support if you still can't access your account
Partner can't accept my invite

Verify the invite link hasn't expired (links expire after 7 days)

Send a fresh invite from the app

Ensure your partner has downloaded the latest version of Pause

Have your partner check that the link opens in their browser first

Subscriptions & Billing
Pause subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. I don't have direct access to your payment information.
Cancel on iOS

Open Settings on your iPhone
- 2.
Tap your name at the top \u2192 Subscriptions
- 3.
Select Pause \u2192 Cancel Subscription
Cancel on Android
- 1.
Open the Google Play Store app
- 2.
Tap your profile icon \u2192 Payments & subscriptions
- 3.
Select Pause \u2192 Cancel subscription
Refunds: Request refunds through Apple or Google Play. Refund eligibility is determined by the respective app store.
