Why I'm building this
I've tried every journaling app. Most of them feel like homework. Open the app, stare at a blank page, feel guilty, close the app. Repeat tomorrow.
The best journaling I've ever done happened in text messages to myself, voice memos in the car, and scattered notes that I could never find again. The friction wasn't writing\u2014it was starting.
Fern is built around that insight. Instead of a blank page, you get a gentle prompt. Instead of long-form essays, you get quick captures. Instead of a diary you forget about, you get something you might actually use.
I'm building the journaling app I wished existed. If that sounds like something you'd use, join the waitlist.
Where I am
Currently building the core journaling experience. I'll update this as I make progress.
